Nonet poem

Ah yes, Autumn and those crunching leaves!

My first attempt at a nonet poem. It’s a lovely and easy form, if you want to do a shorter piece of writing. Rules are: 9 line poem, first line 9 syllables and each line reduces by a syllable until the last line is 1 syllable.

Crisp moments

Crisp, brown, crimson and yellows crunching
Crinkled blankets; covered crescents
Calm and collected visions
Brushing my booted feet
Abundant colours
Gracefully glow
Autumn crunch
Natures
Crisp

Bernie Egerton

I hope you’re enjoying this crispy weather and all those autumn colours πŸ™‚

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day ❀
